1. Operator and agreement
These Terms govern access to and use of Solve House, including accounts, games, daily cases, challenges, dashboards, rankings, and book companion experiences. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
Solve House is designed primarily for adults and older puzzle players. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If local law requires a higher age for you to enter into these Terms, that higher age applies.
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure. Public usernames must not impersonate another person, infringe rights, contain unlawful material, or be abusive. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized access.
4. Games, scoring, and rankings
Cases are entertainment puzzles. Scores, streaks, achievements, ranks, and other virtual statistics have no cash value and are not prizes, gambling products, or financial instruments. We may correct, invalidate, or remove results affected by cheating, automation, exploitation, duplicate accounts, bugs, or manipulation. Server-side records are authoritative for competitive features.
5. Fair play
You may solve cases for personal entertainment and share spoiler-free results or challenge links. You may not scrape the service, systematically extract puzzle databases or solutions, bypass access controls, reverse engineer protected server logic, automate submissions, interfere with other users, or use the service to distribute malware or unlawful content.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep Solve House available and accurate, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will remain unchanged. We may add, modify, suspend, or retire games, scoring formulas, leaderboards, or features where reasonably necessary for security, quality, legal compliance, or product development.
7. Books and third-party retailers
Physical or digital Solve House books may be sold by third-party marketplaces or retailers. Purchases made from a third party are also subject to that retailer's sales, delivery, return, and refund terms. Solve House companion web access is separate from a retailer's transaction unless a specific offer expressly states otherwise.
8. Intellectual property
The service and its original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use Solve House for personal, non-commercial gameplay. They do not transfer ownership of any game content, database, artwork, brand, software, or puzzle compilation.
9. User content
Profile usernames and bios are user-provided content. You retain rights you may have in that content, while granting us the limited permission needed to display it as part of your public profile or leaderboard. We may remove content that violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
10. Account suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms, threaten service security, manipulate rankings, infringe rights, or create legal risk. Where appropriate, we may first warn the user. You may delete your own account from the Profile page.
11. Disclaimer and liability
Solve House is provided for entertainment on an “as available” basis. Nothing on the service is professional, legal, medical, financial, investigative, or forensic advice. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from ordinary use of the free service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. The current Terms version is 2026-08-24.
13. Governing law and consumers
These Terms are governed by Romanian law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply under the law of their country of residence. Consumers may also have access to competent consumer-protection or alternative-dispute-resolution bodies; see Consumer Information.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and, for material changes affecting registered users, may provide an in-product or email notice where appropriate.
