1. Data controller
Amortoae Petru PFA is the controller for personal data processed through Solve House.
2. Data we process
- Account data: email address, authentication identifiers, account creation and security information.
- Profile data: public username, display name, optional bio, avatar seed, and preferred difficulty.
- Gameplay data: puzzle identifiers, scores, solve times, hints used, attempts, streaks, achievements, challenge/daily status, and timestamps.
- Public ranking data: username, score, solved count, and streak statistics. Your email address is not displayed on the leaderboard.
- Technical and security data: standard request metadata, IP/server logs, user agent, session information, and anti-abuse/security events that may be generated by our hosting and backend providers.
- Support data: information you include when contacting us by email.
3. Why we process data
- to create and authenticate your account and provide requested game features;
- to maintain verified scores, streaks, achievements, history, and rankings;
- to prevent fraud, cheating, abuse, and security incidents;
- to respond to support, privacy, or legal requests;
- to comply with legal obligations and establish or defend legal claims.
Depending on the activity, our legal bases under GDPR are performance of the service you request, legitimate interests in operating and securing Solve House, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where consent is specifically required.
4. Public information
If you participate with an account, your chosen username and ranking statistics may be publicly visible. Do not use your real name as a username unless you want it to be public. Email addresses are not published.
5. Service providers
We use processors and infrastructure providers to operate Solve House. The current architecture uses Supabase for authentication/database services and is intended to use Hostinger for web hosting. Providers process data only as needed to provide their services and under their own security and data-processing commitments. Additional email or infrastructure providers may be configured later and this policy will be updated when material.
6. International transfers
Some infrastructure providers may process data outside Romania or the European Economic Area. Where GDPR requires safeguards for a transfer, we rely on mechanisms made available by the relevant provider, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, as applicable.
7. Retention
Account/profile and gameplay data are generally retained while your account remains active because they are needed for your archive, scores, streaks, achievements, and rankings. When you delete your account, account-linked application records are designed to be removed through database relationships and the authentication account is deleted. Limited security logs, backups, or records required by law may persist for their normal retention cycle before deletion. Support correspondence may be retained as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and maintain an audit trail.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing, and may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can edit profile information and delete your account directly from the Profile page. You can also download an account-data export there.
9. Complaints
You may contact us first at info@solvehouse.online. You also have the right to complain to the competent data-protection supervisory authority. In Romania, this is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP): dataprotection.ro.
10. Children
Accounts are not intended for children under 16. If you believe a person under 16 has created an account, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, remove the account.
11. Automated decisions
Solve House automatically calculates puzzle scores and rankings. These entertainment calculations do not produce legal or similarly significant effects. We do not use gameplay scores for credit, employment, insurance, or other consequential decisions.
12. Security
We use access controls, row-level security, server-authoritative scoring, HTTPS in production, and separation of public and server credentials. No service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a unique password and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
13. Cookies
See the Cookie Policy. At this release, Solve House is designed to use essential authentication/security cookies and does not intentionally set advertising cookies.
14. Changes and contact
